Earlier I was at
Market Market, Global, the Fort, looking for some good finds. I had several things on my list and I was tight on my budget. I needed to buy
VMV HypoAllergenics combination skin starter kit, a gift for my boss, some groceries, mirror, and replacement bulb for the bathroom. When I arrived, not surprisingly, the first thing I bought wasn't on my list - 3 packs of cigarettes: Virginia Slims, YSL Menthol, and DJ Mix strawberry. I got them all at under 200 php and that was with a cricket lighter included. Not bad eh? My fixation with the hot-hot-hot guy who was the subject of my previous post
Sizzling Hot, Edible Fafa have yet to fizzle and my need for a smoke must have carried over on to the next day.
I found myself distracted on the ground floor with
Freeway and
Mossimo. When I realized what I was doing, I went to the gift section and looked for a suitable gift for my boss. I found it at a novelty shop on the second floor: a battery-operated frothing mug (as seen on TV! says the print). Hahaha. I don't know if my boss will like it but essentially, it's a mug that works like a blender. It has a "frothing whisk" at the bottom which "turns milk into rich froth". No need to stir. Just push the button and voila! Ordinary coffee turned into a gourmet treat in seconds! Unfortunately, batteries were not included.
I proceeded to purchase the rest of the list except for VMV. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they might go at 25% off. What I didn't count on was my purchasing several tops at Metro. Reminded me of CDO and the clothes department of Gaisano Mall. I forgot how cheap clothes used to be.
